Creative Arts Learning Vacations in Southern Spain

Most of the learning vacations include a visit to Iznajar, a pueblo blanco or white village, perched on a cliff overlooking a beautiful lake.

Iznajar is a small-whitewashed village of about 3000 people perched on a promontory overlooking a 30-kilometer long lake. It has the remains of an old Moorish castle from the 8th century, which the Christians took back in 1431.

Iznajar is a labyrinth of steep streets connecting whitewashed houses with bright blue detailing. Its views across the lake and of the olive-covered surrounding hillsides are breathtakingly beautiful.

This is a real non-tourist village, so lots of opportunity for catching Spanish character at its best while grabbing a coffee or glass of cool beer as you watch the world go by.
